Coronado Island is a 15 minute commute from San Diego's Lindbergh Field Airport and an easy drive to San Diego?s attractions including the World-Famous San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Sea World and Legoland.
Coronado Village features quaint streets lined with boutiques, shops and restaurants. There is an island bike path, two Marinas, golf course and a full range of accommodations. It is also home to the legendary Hotel del Coronado and the Naval Amphibious Base at North Island.
Coronado, meaning "the crowned one", has a rich history including Spanish explorers, industrial tycoons and Hollywood filming. Many of the homes and businesses were built around the 1900?s and the mix of Victorian and modern day architecture gives the island a unique personality.
